About Me
I began my photography journey in the mid-1990s, originally shooting for the simple joy of it. With a film camera in hand, photography started as a way to explore the world around me without expectation, without pressure just curiosity and instinct.
Before long, friends began to notice my eye and asked me to photograph their weddings. What started as a favor quickly turned into a path. I went on to photograph weddings for many years, first on film and later transitioning into digital. Photography became a serious pursuit, balancing technical precision with the responsibility of documenting moments.
Around 2014, life shifted. A full-time career took priority, and photography gradually moved to the background. It wasn’t until after the world slowed down following COVID, in 2022, that I truly returned to the craft this time with a different intention.
I came back to photography not as a profession, but as a form of therapy.
Street photography became my focus. There are no scripts, no posing, no guarantees only moments unfolding in real time. When work allows, I head out into the streets, observing quietly, looking for fragments of everyday life that often go unnoticed. I try to stay out of people’s way and capture natural expressions whenever possible honest, unfiltered, and human.
My favorite part comes afterward: returning home, reviewing the images, and shaping them in post-processing. My editing style leans toward moody and dark, emphasizing atmosphere and emotion rather than perfection. I aim to preserve the feeling of the moment as it was lived.
I believe photography is more than imagery it’s documentation. It’s our responsibility as photographers to capture life as it is, with all its beauty, tension, and complexity. Street photography, in particular, plays a vital role in preserving history. It’s how future generations will understand how we lived, how we moved through the world, and the challenges we faced in our time.
For me, photography is reflection, therapy, and memory one moment at a time.
